Drone

My name is DRONE, straight from Brittany, I'm a Dj and part of the sound system EPSYLONN OTOKTONE. I discovered Techno in 2001 with mix tapes from Furious, Teknokrates, Spiral and others. The musical adventure stated when, with friends, we bought some decks, then i discovered Acid Tekno, Hardcore, Hardtek, and artists as Jeff Mills, Adam Baeyer, 69db, Fky and many others.

I started to jabber on Rebirth one and realized the enormous potential of the TB 303 and of its little friends .... Later i piched on Fruity Loops, I still use for composition.

My style is oriented towards Acid Mental, but i like all styles of Electronic Music. My references are : Curley, Manu le Malin, Acid Anonymous etc…

In 2008 i thought that after all the parties and the travels EPSYLONN OTOKTONE did, it was time to create the Label of the Sound System and i talked about it with ACID UP DUB who's been immediately enthusiastic about the idea, and the Label DUNE was born.!!

At the moment 2 records came out and in this new year 2009, we are working on the 3rd one which is gonna kick'n it, so ......Stay connected !!!

I create my first sound system, Saltimbank with friends in 1998, this adventure lasted for 5 years. At that time I made my first Techno Road Trip with the English sound system KGB (Kornowl Grande Bretagne do not mistake with the parisian Label), then this adventure with Saltimbank came to the end and I met with Epsylonn Sound System, the feeling really hit it off and a new adventure started, a super adventure.

I met Damien (Drone) and we decided to create a Label called DUNE in 2008 in order to difuse our music, the one we've got from deep in the guts.

DUNE is a label created in 2008 by two members of the Epsylonn Sound System (Acidupdub and Drone).

Our aim is to go (at our level) always further into the music, the organisation of parties, the travelling and try to pass the spirit of our parties on our vinyls.
